The U14s were this year’s first game mascots, as the 1st XV ran out 20-17 winners in a very close contest vs Nuneaton.
They trained pre-game, met the 1st XV for a few photos and then gave them a guard of honour before the game.
Having mascots from our Mini & Junior sections is extremely important to the community club we are building. It helps us integrate all sections, providing memories and often first experiences of a live rugby match to those M & J’s.
We want to host as many age groups as possible in a similar fashion on 1st XV match days.
