All at Derby RFC are saddened to hear of the death of one of our Vice-Presidents Trevor Bailey. All at the club send our deepest condolences to his family at this sad time.
Trev was a very successful athlete with the local athletics club and was mentored by our late president John Tivey. He attended the club’s fitness sessions at Kedleston Road, knowing from his schooldays numerous players. He was a popular and long standing Vice-President and supporter of the club both home & away, frequently attending the VP lunches. His son in law Carl played some veterans rugby and grandson Tobin plays juniors having come through the minis teams. RIP Trev.
The funeral service is at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston on Trent on Friday 18th March 2022 at 2:30pm.
