Monday just gone (24/3/24) saw us finish a 10-week league in Nottingham where a very inexperienced team took to the pitches and to say they’ve developed massively in that time is a huge understatement, they’ve surpassed my wildest expectations… and we didn’t come last.
Also, two of our refs went out to Spain to ref at an international tournament which for one of them, Dai, was the first time he’d reffed at a large event, let alone an international, and it was only a matter of weeks beforehand that he qualified as an L1 ref. We were part of a 35-strong team of refs for 2 days in what was a hugely successful tournament.
