It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Culm a longstanding Vice President of the club who recently passed away. Many VPs, especially the more senior ones, will probably remember him from his delivery of the “grace” before the VP lunches as well as his stalwart support in manning the gate at many home matches.
He had a great fondness for Derby RFC and attended all home matches and many away ones until his cruel illness no longer made it possible.
After David’s playing career finished David was a referee for the NLD society for many years and he was also President of Nottinghamians RFC 1987-1991.
