U15s Derby vs Long Eaton

Derby arrived at Long Eaton looking to turn some recent good performances into a result, and they definitely did that.
Long Eaton were 4 players short, but in the true spirit of the game Derby shared a few players to even things up.
The first half started well with the boys building some solid phases with much better rucking. The pressure paid off quickly as the Derby 12 scored 2 quick tries with us converting the second. This set the tone for the half with 3 more tries from quickly following. Half time arrived with Derby 31 -0 up.

The shared players swapped around around at half time and this seemed to briefly even up the contest. Long Eaton scored 2 tries which brought new energy to the game. Derby woke up a bit and after some ferocious tackles and then some great work on a short blindside created a try final for Derby.

The final score was 45-12 to Derby and the lads should be very proud of a solid team performance.
