18th July 2021 (Funeral update) – Robbie Leonard’s funeral is on Friday 6th August 1:30pm at Trent Valley Crem (Aston on trent). We are celebrating his life with a music festival afterwards at Derby Rugby Club, there will be live music, a BBQ and dancing, lots of dancing!! No sadness, just a fun time and a good party!! Please don’t feel obliged to wear black or a suit. If you want to, that’s fine, but we will be wearing the brightest prettiest dress we can find! 10th July 2021 – It is with much heartbreak that we are letting our DRFC family know of the passing of Robbie Leonard. A true legend to all. One of his passions was rugby and his love and dedication to DRFC both as a player and trainer to Minis and Juniors was immense. An inspiration to the young lads he coached, led and motivated. We hope to celebrate his life at the club and will post the arrangements for those of you who want to join us when confirmed.
