This week Derby Colts welcomed Ashbourne Colts to a very cold Haslams Lane.
Derby started really strong securing a very early converted try.
We continued to defend well but Ashbourne broke through this to score.
Derby fought back with a further three tries keeping us ahead 24-5 at half time.
Derby were first out of the blocks to score in the second half but were then caught napping as Ashbourne slotted another two in.
Derby had a gear change and scored a further three tries before Ashbourne slipped the final try of the match at the end.
A great match which resulted in a 48-24 win for Derby.
