Lots of Laughter in Derby

funhouse-comedy

Funhouse Comedy Club is back at Derby Rugby Club on Friday April 8th for a laughter-packed night.

Topping the bill is the incredibly likeable, hilarious, warm and unique Emmanuel Sonubi, who has appeared on ‘Live at The Apollo’. An ex-bouncer, he has many personal tales about playing pranks with his kids and his awful parenting skills.

Opening the night will be Spaniard/Welshman Ignacio Lopez, who has performed for the Wales football squad and opened for James Dean Bradfield of Manic Street Preachers; with his unique brand of sarcastic observations and witty lines. He gives his audience a taste of what it’s like to be the outsider, explaining cultural differences with hilarious results.

Completing the line-up is James Cook with his sharp tongue and dry sense of humour. Having worked as a presenter on commercial radio stations, he went on air with A-ha and presented Lenny Henry with his ‘Walk of Fame’; experiences which have added to his comedy writing ideas.

Compere for the night will the amiable and animated Spiky Mike.
