U16s – Derby Vs Newark
What a match!
It was backwards and forwards between Derby and Newark with Derby going over the try line first. This was closely followed by 2 try’s by Newark with 1 conversion. Derby went over the line again next with another conversion then just before half time, Newark went over again and converted . Score at half time 19-12 to Newark.
Derby came out fighting in the second half and went over the try line another 2 times and produced some exceptional defensive work in the final few minutes to secure a 22-19 win for Derby. Both teams were outstanding and it was a great win.
